Spirit Week Festivities

Spirit Week kicks off Sept. 18 at Lakewood High School.

Next week Lakewood High School will be hosting their annual Spirit Week.

The fun will begin on Monday will be “Character Day”, students will be able to dress up as their favorite characters from books, games, movies etc.

Tuesday will be “Twin Day”, talk with your friends and make sure you wear the same outfit.

Wednesday will be “Elderly Day”, Everyone will be able to dress up like a boomer for a day.

Thursday will be “Class Color Day”, Freshmen wear yellow, Sophomores wear blue, Junior’s wear green, and Senior’s wear red.

Friday will be “Black and Gold Day”, wear your school colors to show how Spartan Strong you are.

There will be a pep rally and a Powderpuff game on Friday. A Powderpuff game is when girl juniors and seniors play flag-football.

Finally, The Homecoming Dance will be Saturday Sept. 23 from 7 pm to 11 pm. Tickets will be on sale for $35 during lunch and the theme is “Sneakerball”.

Overall, there’s lots of fun to have this Spirit Week.
