The school year is finally coming to an end. The students that have worked so hard from their freshmen year are finally about to walk across the stage and be done with high school.
Devin Berrien, a senior at Lakewood, is going to walk across the stage at Tropicana field on May 23rd, when asked how he felt about finally graduating? Devin said, “I’m excited but nervous about the whole thing.” “I’m still looking forward to it.” When asked what it meant to him personally, he stated, “It does still mean a lot, I plan on having bigger accomplishments but graduating still shows I’m moving on to bigger and better things.”
Four years in high school making some memorable memories, Devin said his favorite high school memory “Is finding all of my friends at lunch the first day of Freshmen year.”
For students coming from 8th grade going to high school, it might be scary, but the advice Devin would give is “Just be yourself, don’t try to be something you’re not, it will get old.” For graduation day Devin was planning to meet up with friends just to take it all in and after going out to get some food and have a great night.
When asked what he would miss from high school he said, “All my friends and the fun classes we had together.”
