Senior Maya Rish gets her photo taken by her family on Feb. 25 outside Lakewood High School after finding out she is the traditional valedictorian for the Class of 2022.

The Lakewood High School Class of 2022 valedictorian and salutatorians were announced Friday, with family members, administrators and teachers surprising each student in their seventh-period classes with balloons, confetti poppers, flowers and candy. Congratulations to:

  • Traditional valedictorian: Maya Rish
  • Traditional salutatorian: Diamond Brown
  • Center for Advanced Technologies valedictorian: Brian Tran
  • Center for Advanced Technologies salutatorian: Jackson Culbreth
