From Monday, April 19, through Friday, April 23, seniors will get a whole week to celebrate their achievements. Every day will be a different event to bring together all the seniors.

Monday will be a hot breakfast from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the gym. Make sure to look sharp wearing something business casual that follows Pinellas County dress code.

Tuesday is a Movie on the Lawn, though it will be held in the student parking lot. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:15. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets or folding chairs to enjoy “Shark Tales”.

Then head on to the back field on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-1:20 p.m. to enjoy a senior picnic with your friends. Bring small tents, musical instruments, blankets or chairs for seating.

After that there’s a cool down Thursday with an ice cream party in the courtyard during seventh period. The ice cream will be pre-packaged because of COVID-19. Online students can come through the front office at noon to join the party.
Friday’s cap and gown fitting will have to be postponed because the caps and gowns have not come in.

“Unfortunately the caps and gowns are stuck at the factory so we will have to re-plan Friday’s event,” senior class sponsor Chantella Moore said.

Moore said she has ideas for a different event for that day and will announce it as soon as possible.

Students should remember that the Pinellas County dress code will be enforced Monday through Wednesday and the Lakewood High School dress code will be enforced on Thursday and Friday.
