Maya Rish, Editor in Chief

Hey, Lakewood! My name is Maya Rish. I’m the editor in chief and also a social media editor for SNN. I care deeply for our school community and strive to bring you the best, honest and most informative school journalism (with all the deets). I promise to uphold journalistic integrity and continue to make positive impacts during my senior year at Lakewood. I’m on the swim and soccer teams and enjoy reading, hiking, climbing, surfing, sailing and hanging out with my little brothers. Lakewood students transition during the last period of the day through the doors leading from the portables to the cafeteria on Sept. 10. Students feel the overcrowding makes it difficult to get to class on time. "The hallways frustrate me because we have a limited amount of time to get to class and sometimes (I'm) late due to the hallways being crowded, Senior Emma Ash said.
