Our Lakewood Spartan Athletic Trainers attend the game and stand by the sidelines in case of any injury. These Juniors and Seniors made a commitment to go to almost every game. "The easiest thing about being an athletic trainer is staying motivated, and the hardest thing would be keeping things organized because the athletes can be a little bit messy," says Senior Cayla Rushing.

Julia Fauer, Sports Editor
My name is Julia Fauer, and I am your Sports Editor for the Lakewood High School Spartan News Network. I am a Junior here at Lakewood and have been in the CJAM program for 3 years now. I play a variety of sports myself, including Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis, and more. I am overjoyed to be this year’s Sports Editor because sports are something I am very passionate about, along with Journalism, and being able to combine the two is very important to me.
I am looking forward to everything we have in store this year at Lakewood!
