Welcome Back from Thanksgiving Break!

We here at SNN hope all students and faculty had a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with love and good food. So, we wanted to ask those around campus what they did over the break.

Senior Walter Gilchrist

Walter Gilchrist spent his Thanksgiving break with his family here in St. Petersburg. He was able to enjoy some wonderful food while spending time with his loved ones. Now that he has come back from break, he is determined to finish out the semester strong.

“I am going to try and get Principal’s list because I have a couple of D’s right now,” said Gilchrist.  [The quote was updated on request of Walter Gilchrist as the previous quote was inaccurate.]

Senior Seth Dykestra

Seth Dykestra had Thanksgiving dinner with his girlfriend and her family. He also spent his Thanksgiving break studying tirelessly for the upcoming SAT on December 6. Dykestra is a very studious and determined scholar, and he continued to show those skills over the break.

“I am studying so hard so I can be able to get 100% of tuition covered by Bright futures.” said Dykestra.

Junior Jayden Perry

Jayden Perry spent his break eating some of his favorite foods, including his mom’s amazing mac and cheese. He got to spend time with spend time with the people who matter most to him, his family. He also spent time skateboarding at Campbell Park.

“My Thanksgiving was really good. I got to have my mother’s mac and cheese and have some wonderful food,” said Perry

Senior Brianna Rauel

Brianna Raul stayed local for her Thanksgiving break, spending time with her boyfriend and her family. She was able to spend time relaxing and catching up with her family, without having to worry about assignments.

“My favorite thing I did over break was spending time with my loved ones and doing things that I don’t normally get to do when I’m in school,” said Rauel.
