Wild Cards is a truly captivating and interesting detective series. Wild Cards was produced by Charles Cooper and Virginia Rankin on Jan 10th. Wild Cards is a dramatic, detective and crime fiction with a touch of comedy, sadly for now only displaying one season with ten episodes running for a minimum of 45 minutes each.
Wild Cards starring Vanessa Morgan and Giacomo Gianniotti is about a spirited con woman and a demoted by-the-book detective who are given the chance to redeem themselves, while having to find a way to work together and use their individual unique skills to solves crimes.
Starring actor Vanessa Morgan is also well known for playing the actor, “Toni”, in Riverdale while other starring actor Giacomo Gianniotti plays well known and one of many viewers favorite Grey’s Anatomy character, “Andrew Deluca”.
The Plot of Wild Cards is very thought out in my opinion as one of the main characters Max (Morgan), has an ulterior motive to helping the police department in solving crimes as I believe it has something to do with getting her father out of prison who is also a con artist.
My favorite episode so far would have to be the first one as it displayed fantastic camera quality and a multitude of different angles. The plot of the first episode kept me on the edge of my seat, thinking of what could possibly happen next.
Also, for me to watch a show or movie I must be intrigued within the first two seconds and Wild Cards did just that and more as I saw a trailer for it a few weeks prior and waited eagerly for the day it premiered to watch it.
Vanessa Morgan was the best actor in my opinion as she has experience in being condescending and deceitful as she played someone along the lines in her previous roles and she displayed her skills well as she used her con artist techniques to help solve big time crimes and get recognition as well as staying out of jail.
Wild Cards is guaranteed to make any viewer laugh as although they are solving crimes Max finds a time to always brighten any situation there in whether that be a question, fact, or a joke.
The show is also heart-warming as its main message to always trust and stay loyal to your companion or partner and that its okay to be different from the minorities.
