Scott Pilgrim takes off is a tv show that released on Nov. 17, 2023, on Netflix. This is an action pact filled animation that was based off the original movie Scott Pilgrim vs the World and the comic books.  Scott pilgrim the tv show is blend of action and comedy for family and friends can watch together.

It stars the original cast featuring, Michael Cera, Finn Wolfhard, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Satya Bhabha. The tv show was made in Toronto, Canada.

The plot of the tv show just like in the original movie with the main plot line being Scott Pilgrim in a band that falls in love with Ramona Flowers who appears as a mysterious delivery girl, which ends up attracting the attention of Ramona’s seven evil exes who seek to control her love life.

Things take an unexpected turn when Scott loses his battle against Ramona’s first ex Matthew Patel which was a turn from the original series. The battles in question are in the form of a video game. This leads Ramona learns that Scott may still be alive and investigates his disappearance.

It an incredible animation tv show that the story putting Ramona in the driver’s seat and Scott in the trunk it considers Scott try to fight for his life and beat the seven exes in the shows.  In one episode “Ramona Rents a Video,” is a monumental turning point in the story’s mature intent.

Put in total the tv show is amazing it just a good plot and storytelling. I would watch this again it a good show for family and friends can watch together. I feel as though this show was significant even though it only has seven episodes, and they should consider making a season two. All In all, I want to recommend to people who like anime or Scott pilgrim in general.
