Noah Coons was brought up in Corning, New York. He studied in Columbus, Ohio, for his college experience. He spent some time in Washington D.C., right before moving to Saint Petersburg, Florida in 2022.
During Coon’s college experience, he attended Otterbein University in 2014. At first, he majored in Sports Management. Then, during his junior year, he changed his major to mathematics. He also ended up getting his bachelor’s in mathematics, a minor in Sports Management, and an Education certificate.
As for Coon’s college experience, he was actively involved on campus as a member of the fraternity and a member of the soccer team. Academically, he took various classes such as business classes, sports management classes, and math classes.
Coons began teaching at Lakewood High School in 2022. Even though he teaches MCLA, algebra 1, and algebra 2, Coon’s favored geometry out of all of the subjects he’s taken.
“My favorite part about teaching is getting to know the students and creating bonds with them,” Coons said.
Going back in time, Coon’s described his childhood as “simple.” He grew up in a country area as an only child. He played a lot of soccer and worked hard in school. Even though he had a happy childhood, a lot of his important life experiences came after he left his hometown and traveled to other parts of the country.
Coon usually spends his free time coaching and playing soccer, fishing, cleaning his house, and going to concerts. The latest concert he attended was Chelsea Cutler and Lauv’s.
“I would usually go to a concert at least once a month,” Coons said.
Coon’s top five musical artists consist of Quinn XCII, Bryce Vine, Lil Wayne, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Queen.
